The face of the franchise, Bandit remains one of the most important figures in XWF history and it's for good reason. Bandit was responsible for the foundation of the organisation and served as it's President from it's establishment. After associating himself with Mr. BIG at first, it was his heinous double-cross of the Only One at XWF Bad Blood that remains a source of tension between the two men. It lead to the formation of the devious nWo SICkNESS, one of the most powerful and dominant factions in the history of professional wrestling. Despite the corporate responsibilities, Bandit's wrestling skill was almost without equal and reigned as a four-time XWF World Champion. After Mr. BIG handed back ownership to the XWF to Bandit, he did a commendable job steering the ship after the damage that it took during BIG's ownership. Bandit's passion for the promotion saw it revived on two memorable occasions where it entertained once more, this time to a different audience. When all is said and done, The Bandit was proud of his accomplishments in the XWF and especially proud of how the legacy of the company lives on.

Dope C was one of the more mysterious superstars in the TWF. He began his career as Ollie the Magic Bum in the XWF, an obvious influence from the video game character of the same name. He wowed many audiences with his amazing size and strength for a person of his size. When he transferred to the VWF, he became known as Dope, and added the C a little later. Dope C was one of the three men who contested tlC 1, and in fact Dope C won the contest and became VWF North American Champion, ending Mr. BIG's short reign. After the VWF's demise, Dope disappeared from the world of professional wrestling for almost 3 years, until he showed up at TWF PayBack 2004, where he partnered his old friend Ottobomb in a tag team bout. The two were inseparable and Dope was back to his very best. As Ottobomb's lackey, Dope C could be seen wherever his partner was and was instrumental in the success of Otto's xWa Championship reign. However, when his partner left the company, so did he. Dope is now a DJ in London.

One of the greatest technical wrestlers of all-time, JT Money stands alone in the XWF as being the only man to hold the company's four most prestigious belts. Money often found himself at the side of The Bandit, his best friend and partner in crime, so it's ironic that he won his Tag Team Championships with the man then known as The Exterminator, another man also known for his partnership with another XWF great. Money's ascent to the top of the XWF was a slow and stable one, but Money was one of the greatest XWF World Champions of all-time and remains one of the most fondly talked about figures in the history of the company.

Whilst being one of the most popular XWF superstars of all-time, Mr. BIG is also among the most controversial. The then up-and-coming superstar arrived in the XWF under a blaze of hype in September 2001 and quickly found himself the darling of the fans, despite some irrational thinking. The first XWF Intercontinental Champion, he found an ally in President Bandit…at least until Bandit's master plan was revealed at Bad Blood and BIG was left to stand alone. BIG's most famous rivalry was with Chezi, the Corporate choice as XWF World Champion. BIG would finally get the championship he craved at Hell on Earth.
In the mean time, Biggie was also XWF Commissioner for a time and his power made sure that the nWo Sickness didn't always have it their way. However, around December 2001, Mr. BIG managed to become the CEO of the XWF and in the process managed to burn bridges with many superstars, concerned that only those in BIG's inner circle would advance in the company. After a tumultuous three month period, Mr. BIG left the XWF in March 2002 after handing the company back to The Bandit and having angered many of its superstars in the process. Despite his XWF experiences, BIG returned to his own TWF promotion and lead it to become one of the biggest wrestling organisations in the world. His love for the XWF (and guilt at what he deemed "screwing it up") lead to him appearing in it's 2004 swan song. The TWF eventually gained the rights to the XWF Video Library that BIG owned in 2007 and in a 2009 TWF Home Video release, gave his story of how he lead to owning the company - the only piece in the documentary filmed where he was not berated by former XWF Alumni.

The charismatic Nevermore delivered some of the most incredible promos in the history of the XWF. The influential leader of the Flock (which later fell under many different names), Nevermore was a specialist in the hardcore division but found his greatest success in the Xtreme division, being one of the few wrestlers who truly understood the art of the Xtreme match under Mr. BIG's ownership.

The non-appearance of NJS in the original 2001 XWF was called "in hindsight the biggest mistake the XWF ever made" by the Bandit on the TWF-produced 2009 "Story of the XWF" home video. NJS had left the TWF in 2001, disgruntled by the Marz-led regime in the company and wanted to ply his trade in the United States. Famously, his involvement in EWC saw Mr. BIG arrive, but after that promotion shut down after two shows, NJS returned home with the tail between his legs, suffering indignity in the TWF for almost a year. When the XWF was revived in both 2003 and 2004, the same mistake was not made twice and NJS was figured to be one of the biggest draws in the company. Due to the few shows the revived XWF had, the potential for NJS to become a big star in the company was never achieved. NJS does look on his XWF days very favourably and when his book, "Breaking Down the Laws" was released in 2010, he dedicated a whole chapter to the experience.
